The 25^th LAWASIA Conference will take place from 18^th to 21^st of November 2012 in Indonesia. “When the takeover goes wrong –legal consequences” is one of the main topic of the event, during which attorney Henning von Zanthier LL.M will be one of the speakers.  

The 20^th anniversary of the law firm will be celebrated at the end of October by the employees from Berlin and Poznań in Rome, the cradle of the continental European law. 

Attorney Henning von Zanthier LL.M. has given on July 11^th, 2012 in Berlin a lecture for public prosecutors from province Zhejiang, China, which were invited by the company RKWC GmbH. The topic was: „Consumer protection in Germany and the European Union“.

A seminar on renewable energy in Poland will take place on the 12^th June 2012 under the auspices of the Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Hamburg. Mrs. Magdalena Stawska-Höbel, a counselor from von Zanthier und Schulz, will give a lecture on renewable energy in Poland and will answer all questions related to the planned amendment of the Polish law with regard to this topic.

From 31^st May 2012 to 1^st June 2012 an annual assembly of DIRO members (an organization of lawyers from the whole Europe) took place. Mrs. Magdalena Stawska-Höbel took part in bankruptcy law workshops, whereas Mrs. Karolina Barałkiewicz-Sokal took part in labor law workshops. 

The topic of this year’s Conference was in particular a discussion on ‘Pros and cons for the European sales law’. 

Mr. Henning von Zanthier and Mrs. Aleksandra Dziurzyńska are co-authors of a specialist book entitled ‘Telemedicine’, published by Oldenbourg Verlag. They are co-authors of the Chapter ‘Radiology and Teleradiology - common grounds and potential of the cross-border concept between Poland and Germany’, which appeared in the third edition of HealthCapitel Yearbook Berlin-Brandenburg 2011/2012 (published by H. Kunze, S. Mutze).

Moreover, both lawyers are co-authors of the article: ‘Health with no limits. The Europeanization process of national economies in the field of public health on the example of German-Polish cooperation’, which appeared in a German-Polish Economy Yearbook 2011/2012.  

Mr. Henning von Zanthier and Mr. Mariusz Lipa are also co-authors of the book on German Labor Law entitled ‘Employment of Polish citizens in Germany’ (the book appeared in Polish with the title: ‘Zatrudnienie Polaków w Niemczech’), published by the Trade and Investment Promotion Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland.

1. Vortrag zum Thema „landwirtschaftliches Biogas in Polen“ auf der BioGasWorld

Die Kanzlei von Zanthier & Schulz hat im Rahmen der BioGasWorld auf der Konferenz Biogas Goes East einen Vortrag zum Thema "landwirtschaftliches Biogas in Polen" gehalten. Während des Vortrages wurden die Voraussetzungen für die Errichtung von landwirtschaftlichen Biogasanlagen in Polen sowie derer Wirtschaftlichkeit vorgestellt und besprochen.

2. Aktuelle Ziele der polnischen Regierung in Bezug auf Biogas

Zur Erreichung der Klimaziele der Europäischen Union hat sich die polnische Regierung das Ziel gesetzt, den Anteil der erneuerbaren Energien an der Energieerzeugung von aktuell ca. 5 % auf 15 % bis 2020 zu erhöhen. Bis zum Jahr 2030 liegt die Zielmarke bei 30 %. Den größten Anteil der erneuerbaren Energien hat derzeit die Windkraft (ca. 46 %), die sich in den vergangenen Jahren rasant entwickelt hat – an 2. Stelle steht die Wasserkraft (ca. 37 %). Aktuell setzt die polnische Regierung in den Gesetzesvorgaben und Förderrichtlinien auf die Entwicklung dezentraler Energieversorgung und eröffnet damit neue Möglichkeiten für Biomasse und Biogas aus landwirtschaftlicher Erzeugung. Bis 2020 soll möglichst in jeder Gemeinde eine Biogasanlage zur Verwertung landwirtschaftlicher Biomasse errichtet worden sein. Gasnetzbetreiber sind gesetzlich verpflichtet, landwirtschaftlich erzeugtes Biogas abzunehmen, sofern es den Qualitätsanforderungen entspricht. Die Einspeisung des Biogases in das lokale Gasnetz wird mit Zertifikaten gefördert. Es ist zu erwarten, dass Polen nach dem Windkraft-Boom nun einen Biogas-Boom erleben wird.

3. Messe BioGasWorld - Kooperationen als Messeziel

Mit der Entscheidung für Polen als Partnerland ist die internationale Messe BioGasWorld eine Plattform gewesen, die Kooperationen zwischen jungen polnischen Biogasunternehmen und den etablierten Playern der Branche effektiv initiiert und fördert. Aufgrund der aktuellen Situation rechnet die BioGasWorld allein aus Polen mit mehreren Hundert Investoren und sonstigen Fachbesuchern. Die Entscheidung für Polen als Partnerland der BioGasWorld 2012 ist ein Signal zu grenzübergreifendem Informationsaustausch und Kooperation unter dem Motto "Biogas Goes East". Insgesamt wurden zur BioGasWorld 2012 etwa 5.000 Fachbesucher erwartet.
