Mr. Henning von Zanthier participated from October 15th to 18th in business delegation through the hotspots of Poland’s games industry, organized by Berlin Partner GmbH in cooperation with media.net berlinbrandenburg e.V. The trip was an opportunity for the participating companies for finding new cooperation partners in Poland. Henning von Zanthier gave during the business delegation lectures about legal aspect of cooperation between German and Polish IT-companies, IT-specialists and public institutions.

The date for the introduction of the SEPA direct debit is approaching: On February 1st, 2014 the national payment systems will be turned off. On that date a transition to the SEPA payment system will occur.
The associated changes require a high conversion effort in many organizations. According to the recommendation of the German Central Bank, companies should apply for and receive the necessary creditor identification number until the end of October. Magdalena Stawska-Höbel has filed an opinion in a preliminary ruling of the District Court Wedding to the European Court of Justice. Opinions in the preliminary ruling may be submitted by the parties of the main proceeding, by the European Commission, the European Parliament, the European Council as well as by the Member States of the European Union. Our law firm represents the defendant. The judgment of the Court of Justice of the European Union is to be expected in about a year.
New standards of proof for a supply to another EU member state are effective from January 2013. Under the regulations, other documents as delivery receipt to the customer are allowed. Find more about it here.
