We're delighted to announce that we're supporting action for the environment and other people as part of the Tour de Wind 2024 for another year in a row!

On 23 May 2024, we joined the VII. edition of the Tour de Wind 2024 bike rally. We have been supporting the ideas of this event since 2016, i.e. since the first edition. In addition, for the first time ever, the weather was not entirely in our favour and we rode for the wind in torrential rain while in the evening the souvenir statuette from the 2017 Tour de Wind, donated by us, was auctioned during a charity auction for the West Pomeranian Hospice for Children and Adults.

Tour de Wind is a cyclical event organised by the Windhunter Academy, which uniquely brings together a community of renewable energy enthusiasts, two-wheeled riding, but above all inspires action for the environment and for others. These are values that we value highly at VON ZANTHIER & DACHOWSKI.

In this year's edition, our team was represented by Karolina Barałkiewicz-Sokal and Małgorzata Stępień, who cycled 60 km along the coastal route with the aim of promoting wind energy.

From the very beginning, the Tour de Wind has been accompanied by a campaign to help the West Pomeranian Hospice for Children and Adults, which, in addition to the sick, also supports healthy siblings of sick children. That is why, during the evening gala, the participants not only shared their impressions, but by taking part in numerous auctions they were able to make a financial contribution to the hospice. This year, one of the items auctioned was a commemorative statuette from the 2017 Tour de Wind, donated by us.

We are delighted to have been part of this initiative and warmly encourage you to support similar campaigns!

Global Geothermal Impact Summit 2024

The potential of geothermal energy can bring many benefits for consumers and the environment. At our law firm, we have known this for a long time and support client companies that produce this renewable energy source. With Arctic Green Energy and others we have very well known companies in this field. That's why we couldn't miss the Global Geothermal Impact Summit 2024, which focused on the financing of geothermal energy and took place on 23 and 24 April in The Hague.

During the event, Henning von Zanthier gave a presentation on "Berlin as front runner on geothermal transformation at a big scale?" as part of the "Climate Neutral Cities" panel. The conference participants also had the opportunity to visit the Haagse Aardwarmte Leyweg (HAL). This is a unique Dutch geothermal project next to the HAGA hospital, where two boreholes extract hot water from the ground at a depth of more than 2,000 metres and provide heat for consumers.

The conference was organised by the International Geothermal Association.
